Ramsden and Colne Developments' spectacular £200 million mixed use regeneration scheme - THE WATERFRONT QUARTER - will change the face of Huddersfield.

The ambitious scheme will transform a prime 12 acre site near the town centre bounded by Chapel Hill, Manchester Road and The River Colne.

The scheme – expected to create up to 2000 jobs – will cover 750,000 sq feet and will include modern top quality offices, 500 apartments and waterfront café bars and restaurants.

A riverside walk and the opening up of the recently renovated Huddersfield Narrow Canal will create green open space for the public.

Two pedestrian bridges are proposed - one of the bridge designs boasts a striking towering structure already christened The Spike.

This iconic image has now been adopted by Ramsden and Colne Developments as the logo for the scheme.
